Thoughts and Prayers

Just a thought...

Isn't finalization wonderful? I mean you finally know the outcome of something and it's CLEAR! You are able to move towards a new goal without the old situation holding you back. It's like... Freedom

I also have a praise that my cousin's Grandma Venice (mom's side) made it through her brain tumor surgery. For those who didn't know, this was a re-occuring tumor. The doctors didn't think it would come back but, lets just say God has a reason for everything. During the surgery of removing her first tumor, only 65% was removed. This time they removed 90%! God is gracious!!! My family is rejoicing and I hope she can continue living a fruitful life for the time alloted to her. She is truly a blessing.

I Need Prayer

Ummm yea I have to work from 10a.m. to 9p.m. tommorow and it is supposed to hit higher than 90 degrees!!!! Though the building I work in is air-conditioned, It's about as bad at keeping cool or hot air in as Daniel's house so pray that I don't BOIL!!!!!!!!!

Report Card

This post is NOT meant to brag but it was exciting!
I got straight A's!!
and a GPA of 4.157!!!
I really don't know how that happened but I'm glad it did because it will help with future college tuition and it put smiles on my parent's faces.
I'm so thankful for God's blessings in my life!

From a Book I Once Read

A meaningful quote from a book I finished yesterday...

Audrey turned to go, but Mrs. Leacock suddenly had something else to say. "Do you know what resilience means?" she said, and without waiting for an answer went on, in a reciting voice: "The capability of a strained body to recover its size and shape after deformation caused most especially by compressive stress." She made a small, unhappy smile. "For years I kept that definition pinned on my refrigerator. The point is, we're all crushed at some time or other. It's true that some of us never recover our size and shape, but" - this time the smile seemed actually hopeful - "most of us do."

Healing for my Soul

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
Isaiah 58:8

Duteronomy 4:9

Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
